Norway in a nutshell。Day1。Oslo-Flåm 挪威縮影之奧斯陸到Flåm
There are many kinds of transportations during Norway in a nutshell, including in trains, buses, and boats. The train was main traffic in our first day, we took two trains: from Oslo to Myrdal, and from Myrdal to Flåm.
It spent around five and half hours from Oslo to Myrdal. The scenery changed from green to white along the way. It was still cold although we travelled in the middle summer.
This was Myrdal station, we got off here and waited for next train.
In addition to us, there were many people changed to next train here. Norway in a Nutshell was indeed popular trip.
The train toward Flåm looks ancient style, it was non-reserved seats, passenger chose the seats they want when boarded. We saw a big waterfall called Kjosfossen on our way, and the train also stopped here few minutes for passenger to take photos. A girl wore red dresses danced near waterfall, she played a role of Huldra, a seductive forest creature in Scandinavian folklore. It is said not only female, but male is also in this forest creature tribe. However, it is not beautiful and tempting like female, the male looks very ugly. We saw just female dancer near the Kjosfossen waterfall.
The second train trip not too long, less than one hour. The second train trip not too long, less than one hour. We dropped off at Lunden train station, that was closest station to our accommodation. Lunden just one stop before Flåm station, it is also not far from Flåm to Lunden by foot, just 20 to 30 minutes.
On our way to B&B, saw a cute tourist train drove on the road.
This house around mountains was B&B where we stayed for two nights. The host Sigurd was lovely and enthusiasm Norwegian. He waved hand and greeted to us even we were still walked on the road and didn't enter the house yet.
The mail boxes house was our marker, we turned to another road here and saw B&B soon.
