It was first time we took the steamship, very exciting to look everywhere on boat. Restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarket, carparks, cabins, meeting room......and so on, many business here.
A clear boundary line of floating ice appeared on the sea, not far from Helsinki. It was end of February.
It was not far from Tallinn's harbor to old town, about 10 minutes by walking. When we just entered the town, there were many special buildings and streets there. This old town was not very big, so no worry for getting lost.
According to our friends, we had our lunch in a special restaurant that was located in the central square, in a corner of town hall. This restaurant was funny, when we entered the door, can't see anything at the moment because too dark. After few seconds, we saw there were many candles inside. They sold only pies and soups, no menu available; apart pies and soup, free pickles were provided for guests.
Boss wore the traditional clothing.
We kept visiting this beautiful town after lunch. I liked to explore its meandering alleys, there were always some lovely shops somewhere.
Katariina Käik, it is said most romantic street in the old town.
St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, belong to Russian Orthodox. It is located on the top of Toompea. Toompea is a hill that higher 20-30 meters than town.
Whole town views from the lookout of Toompea.
Some flower shops beside of Viru Gates, these flowers looked so beautiful. When we walked through the gate, it seems we through between ancient and modern.
