River Aurajoki is the main river in Turku, many buildings built beside it. One of the famous landmarks is Turku Cathedral. It is most important religious building in Finland, its history can back to 13th century. There are some exhibitions inside this Cathedral, these exhibitions and the buildings itself are worthy to see.
Walked along the river, some small shops or restaurants looked also nice. There are also restaurants on the boats available~
Opposite of river is library~ 河對岸的圖書館~
Turku historical museum. Although some exhibition halls were renovation when I visited here, the rest visitable exhibition hall were good for showing me about the Turku history.
Turku castle is famous for tourists as well, it is a mediaeval building, founded in the late 13th century and still in use so far. Different to other Europe romantic castle, Turku Castle is simple. But I like its historical trace. Due to time limitation, I looked its appearance only.
Forum Marinum, many ships were exhibited here.
Thanks for my host Satu in Turku, I had nice time to stay with her.
